Emsoff Livestock Company is located on 60 acres of high desert in the northeastern Sierra Nevada Mountains, about 20 miles north of Reno, Nevada, just west of the California border.

From Hwy 70
We are located 2.7 miles from Hwy 70 on Scott Rd. From Hwy 70 turn south onto Scott Rd. After you cross the railroad tracks, stay left so that you parallel the tracks. About two 2 miles from Hwy 70, you will come to a homemade sign that say "Sprague." Be sure to stay left here. About another 1/4 mile further, there is another fork. This time stay right. We are the beige house with the brown metal roof right off the road at the top of the hill.

From Hwy 395
*This route requires crossing a narrow bridge that will not permit daully pickups or trailers wider than a standard pickup to pass. Therefore, if you are driving a wide vehicle or trailer, you must come from the Hwy 70 end of the road.

Coming from Reno, a quarter mile north of the agriculture inspection station on Hwy 395, you will see a left turn lane. Turn here and continue straight over the cattle gaurd, through a gate and over the railroad tracks. After .7 mile from the highway you will come to a creek. Do NOT drive through the creek if it has water in it, as it is often deeper than it appears. Instead, drive over the bridge. Continue straight for another .6 miles until the road dead ends at a large gate. Turn right here. Continue another .75 mile. We are the first place on the left, a beige house with a brown metal roof.
